Week 5: 5/2 Potential of Scanography
I think the potential of scanography is not only for fun, but also encourage students or people engage in making art and expressive their idea through scanner. During the working process, students or people will find amazing outcomes they never thought and brings a lot of surprise. Sometimes that surprise will inspire students or people more ideas. It's the continuously and creatively thinking process combine technique media and art to make artworks. It's also help students and people to solve the problem when using scanner that they need to decide what kind of outcomes they want to create and deal with where lights comes from, the color matching, and the whole composition. In other way, it also the process of aesthetic training.

I think you make a great point about scanography in regards to its artistic potential. This potential might surprise students and give them the courage to experiment with different imagery. Scanography might inspire students since it reinvents a tool - a scanner- that is commonly used in life for purposes not related to the arts. It remains important to give students a broad choice of subjects to work with and depict with scanography.
